* How they started *

All the original finish was removed, bare metal was smoothed of casting lines.  Castings were then cleaned, sanded, and primed with automotive grade lacquer.  Then AutoAir Base Coat Sealer was applied and the REAL fun began!

* Highly Detailed *

Grills were detailed using a “black wash” technique that effectively dulls/ages the bright chrome while adding detail, looks much more realistic. Tail light areas were blacked out solid, except for the Candy Red lights and chrome center emblem.  Opening Hoods with engine compartments done in black low gloss and hand detailed chrome motor parts.

* How they are painted *

First came the flame colors.  I laid down a custom mix PEARL Yellow over a white base sealer, then FADED Tangelo Pearl over that on the hood and sides.  Sg100 Intercoat clear was shot on lightly and when dry, special FlameMasks were applied over the nose and down sides.
A thin coat of Wicked Detail Black was applied to even out the base color.  HOK Majyk Blue Pearl was then applied over the masks until full coverage was achieved, then I faded Passion Purple Pearl over the rear body.  This makes for a very subtle appearing fade..very nice blue/purple overall look!

* Additional Features *

All editions feature Red Line, Real Rider Rubber tires mounted on 5spoke Chrome Mag wheels!  They all roll freely with an extra upward attitude in the rear!
Professionally reassembled with Stainless Steel machine screws that look much like a stock rivet head.

* How they are Finished *

Finally, High Gloss 2part Urethane Automotive Clear was generously applied.  Each was lightly colorsanded and HAND POLISHED for the ultimate SMOOTH, Glossy finish that rivals any real show car!!

* The GHOST Signature *

The VERY “Ghosty” (ie…difficult to see) KB logo is placed on all rear deck lids.
It is generally only visible at certain angles of view, and varies with light sources.
IT IS THERE, lol..believe me!!
