All the original finish was removed, bare metal was smoothed of casting lines.
Castings were then cleaned, sanded, and primed with automotive grade lacquer.
Then AutoAir Base Coat Sealer was applied and the REAL fun began!
* How they are painted *

I wanted to give these an old school meets modern appearance so I went
with a simple Jet Black base color, then coated with SG100 Clear to
seal and smooth the base color. The real trick to these is the killer graphics!
It took a lot of work to get everything just right, even if its not “paint” graphics.
The design features multiple fades of mainly yellow, orange, reds, and blue.
I did a custom stripe running done the upper sides, curved and thicker at the
back of rear fender with a thin blue outline, coming to a point just
past the front fender openings. Freshly designed Tribal Flames in
a yellow/red fade color also adorn the sides with multiple layers
intertwined around a metallic silver Camaro emblem!
The hood features a cool checkerboard design over the cowl hood scoop and
matching tribal flame design!
The roofs have metallic ink “Hot Toy Cars” logo and lettering to complete the look!

* Highly Detailed *
Grill and base were detailed using a “black wash” technique that effectively dulls/ages the bright chrome while adding detail. Tail lights are done with meticulously designed metallic ink graphics!
Side fender trim and “Camaro” logo emblems also done with metallic ink graphics.

Finally, SATIN Finish 2part Urethane Automotive Clear was generously applied.
SMOOTH, LOW Gloss finish to rival any real show car!!
Professionally reassembled with Stainless Steel machine screws that look much like a stock rivet head.
