FINALLY!!
GEEZ…didnt think I was ever gonna get a chance to work on these again!
Between health issues and car stranding me then subsequent diagnosis/repair that have been plaguing me recently…I just did not know if I would make headway on these again. But here is a rare shot of the first flame licks. Now keep in mind, everything under the masked areas will be black. Ive lightly sprayed a custom pearl blue over the top then added first flames in custom medium metallic grey. Next layer will be brighter silver or chrome. Then I’ll unmask and coat with candy blue…or thats the plan right now.
Have to work in the wee hours because of the heat here lately too. But..thats the least of the hurdles of late.
Anyway..enough whining..lol..more painting!

WIP-PEEK!! Switchback truck!!
Man its been a looooooong time since I’ve done one of these! Did quite a few when the casting first came out. I was the first customizer to make one these into a “panel” configuration by adding a 56 ford panel rear roof section. But this one is not fated for that. Altho it is already modified subtly! Ive smoothed the tailgate and shaved the rockers (ground effects) to give it a more even stance. Also have the kick butt pro rodz mags/rubber tires featuring black centers and visible brake discs!
I may have some other mods in store.for.it.but will have to wait n see..lol 😉

The last of ONLY TWO..
This bad boy features Special Pro Circuit 6 spoke wheels on front, white letter Goodyears with sanded treads all around for a rubber appearance. Signed, numbered, and dated on underside of body. Mirrored case bottom with chrome BadBat logo on top of acrylic display case. Case also features fitted foam padding and shipper box for added protection.

Here are completed pics of the Purple Edition BadBat VW Drag Bus! I only did TWO of these. They are hand signed and numbered underside of body. Smoothed noses…multilayer candy purple flames on lower sides with silver high metallic and black graphics coated with a dusting of pearl flake…reeeeally pops! Will have actylic case with custom graphics!
